Servodata Announces the Acquisition of S-COMP Centre


Through this acquisition, Servodata will strengthen its professional services team, especially in the areas of training, virtualized infrastructure and solutions using Microsoft platforms.

Servodata and S-COMP Centre CZ announced the conclusion of an acquisition agreement. Through the takeover, Servodata will strengthen its team of experts in the Microsoft Professional Services field, specializing in Citrix platform virtual infrastructures and professional training. This acquisition fits well into Servodata’s long-term growth strategy, as envisioned by Genesis Capital, the company’s majority owner.

“The acquisition of S-COMP Centre will allow us to integrate a complementary set of client services in the area of Microsoft product training. While Servodata deals mainly with the training of system administrators through its DataScript subsidiary, S-COMP Centre is a company that specializes in the professional training of users. We also anticipate making good use of S-COMP Centre’s experience as an ICT services solution provider," said Rostislav Jirkal, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Servodata.

S-COMP Centre CZ is a Czech company serving the Czech market in the area of computer training and requalification and it has been accredited by the Czech Ministry of Education to provide these services since 1991. As a further evidence of the quality of its services, the Company has been officially accredited as a Microsoft Authorized Education Training Center since 1995. In addition it became a "gold partner" (Gold Certified Partner) of Microsoft in 2003. Besides training, the Company also provides services in the field of ICT business solutions.
