Tatiana Balkovicová and Martin Viliš reinforce Genesis Capital

Genesis Capital, a leading private equity firm in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, has won two prominent experts for its team. Tatiana Balkovicová comes from Deloitte and Martin Viliš comes from Česká spořitelna. They are experienced professionals with managerial experience from financial advisory services and acquisition financing.

Tatiana Balkovicová has 17 years of experience in financial advice on mergers and acquisitions. Between 2006 and 2018, she held managerial positions in the financial advisory department of Deloitte’s Prague offices; she spent 2001–2005 as a junior in financial advisory services at KPMG’s Prague offices. Her experience includes financial due diligence and valuation engagements for both financial and strategic investors on a number of targets in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and in the Central European region in a wide range of industries. She has also participated in several successful transactions in Genesis Capital’s portfolio, such as POS Media and D2G. Tatiana is a graduate of the University of Economics in Bratislava and a Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) in the UK. She speaks Slovak, Czech, English, French, and Spanish.


Martin Viliš has nearly 20 years of experience in banking. Before joining Genesis Capital, he spent many years as Head of Acquisition & Leveraged Finance at Česká spořitelna. Prior to Česká spořitelna he worked in various specialist and managerial positions at HVB Bank, Živnostenská banka, and Commerzbank. During his career, he has actively participated in a number of major acquisition and leveraged finance transactions in the Czech market, including those in the portfolio of Genesis Capital companies such as Sanborn, HP Tronic, Eqos, GTH Catering and KS Klima. Martin graduated from the University of Economics in Prague and has also attended the London Business School in London. Martin speaks Czech, English, and German.
